Rudolf Heltzels is a renown Irish Jeweler who has shaped the creative arts of Ireland. Being a fourth generation jeweler ourselves, we also love hearing about keeping the practice in the family. Both of Mr. Heltzels sons are present in the family’s company executing designs.
Each of Mr. Heltzel’s creations is years in the making. Since the start of his career, he has collected unusual stones from the world’s best gem cutters; many sit in his safe for a long time before they are used. “It could be 20, 30 years before I have enough to make a perfect piece,” he said, describing how the materials inspire a design.
